Summary
Diomu does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or commercial profiling. We use technical storage needed to keep your session, remember your theme and language, and protect the platform. That is why you will not see a cookie banner for those functions.
What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way, but it is not sent automatically with every request. Diomu mostly uses local storage for preferences and session data.
Necessary storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
diomu-theme | Remember whether you prefer light or dark theme. | Until you clear site data. | Local |
diomu-lang | Remember the interface language. | Until you clear site data. | Local |
sb-*-auth-token | Keep the Supabase session and allow access. | Depending on the session and Supabase configuration. | Local |
This data is necessary to provide the service you request. If you block it, you may not be able to sign in or the interface may not remember your preferences.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies or identify specific people. It helps us understand which pages work and detect errors in aggregate. It is not used for advertising.
Third-party sign-in
If you choose to sign in with GitHub, Google or Microsoft, those providers may use their own cookies during the authorisation process. Diomu does not control those cookies. Review their policies before using them.
How to delete them
You can delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings. If you clear site data, your session will end and saved preferences will be lost.
Changes
If we add non-essential storage in the future, we will ask for consent before using it and update this page.
