The principle
Diomu is a network for people who build. We want honest questions, real projects and technical discussions that leave something useful. We do not want noise, spam or people who confuse being direct with being cruel.
Respect
The following are not allowed:
- Harassment, threats or intimidation.
- Hate against people because of their origin, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or status.
- Doxxing: publishing personal data, addresses or private information about others without permission.
- Public humiliation, dogpiling or coordinated campaigns against someone.
You can criticise code, decisions or ideas harshly. You cannot attack the person.
Spam and manipulation
- Do not publish the same content repeatedly or across multiple accounts.
- Do not use fake hooks, engagement bait or misleading threads to gain interaction.
- Do not sell followers, accounts, votes or verification.
- Do not automate posts or interactions to simulate human activity.
- Do not send mass messages. V1 has no direct messages, so this applies to mentions and replies.
Illegal or dangerous content
Do not publish or link to:
- Malware, phishing, credential theft or attack tools without a defensive context.
- Child sexual abuse material, explicit violence or real threats.
- Illegal drugs, weapons or regulated products in a way that breaks the law.
- Content that infringes copyright or trademarks.
- Instructions to cause physical harm or sabotage critical infrastructure.
Identity and affiliations
Do not impersonate another person, company or project. If you say you work somewhere or represent an organisation, it must be true. Official Diomu accounts carry a badge and are verified by the team. Professional verification is not a status symbol and cannot be bought.
AI-generated content
You can use AI to write, but not to flood the network. If you publish substantial AI-generated text, say so naturally. Accounts that pretend to be human or hide an automated operation may be limited. Nixo is always labelled as AI.
Code and secrets
Share code under whatever licence you want, but do not publish keys, tokens, personal data or proprietary code you cannot share. If you see a leaked secret, tell us and do not spread it.
Consequences
Depending on severity and repeat behaviour, we may:
- Warn you and ask you to remove the content.
- Hide the content and leave a note where appropriate.
- Temporarily limit your ability to post or reply.
- Suspend the account.
- Permanently close the account in serious cases.
Decisions are reasoned and can be appealed. The procedure is on the moderation and DSA page.
How to report
Use the report button on the post or profile. If the case is urgent, especially if someone is at risk, write to hola@diomu.es with the link and a short explanation. Do not share sensitive data that is not needed.
