Who we are
Diomu is a social network for people who build software. Reading is public and anyone can create an account to publish. The service is operated by Nixer. You can contact us at hola@diomu.es.
Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing or using Diomu you accept these terms, the privacy policy, the cookie policy and the community rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
You must be at least 14 years old to use Diomu. If you are under 18, you need the authorisation of your parent or legal guardian.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- An account is personal. You may not sell it, transfer it or share your credentials.
- Do not impersonate another person, brand or project.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password and 2FA secure.
- We may ask for additional information to verify a professional identity.
Service status
Diomu is at an early stage. Features may change, be added or be removed. We will do our best to keep the service available and your data safe, but we do not guarantee any particular availability or service level. If an important feature changes, we will announce it on the site or by email.
Your content
The content you publish remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, distribute and technically adapt it (for example, resizing an image) for the sole purpose of operating and improving Diomu. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for backups and records we must keep by law or to resolve a dispute.
- You are responsible for having the necessary rights to what you publish.
- Code you share is published under the licence you state. If you state none, you keep all rights, but you allow Diomu to display it on the platform.
- Do not publish secrets, keys, third-party personal data or code you cannot share.
- We may remove content that breaches these terms or the community rules.
Conduct
Harassment, hate, spam, impersonation, malware, phishing, doxxing and illegal content are not allowed. The community rules explain these cases in more detail and the consequences.
Moderation and sanctions
We may hide content, limit features, suspend or close accounts when they breach the rules. Moderation decisions are reasoned and can be appealed under the procedure described on the moderation and DSA page. Nixo, our AI, may help classify reports, but does not make final decisions about accounts.
Diomu intellectual property
The Diomu name, logo, design and platform software belong to their respective owners. You may not use the brand to suggest an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist. You are free to talk about Diomu and link to it.
Third-party services
Diomu uses third-party services to operate, including Supabase (database, authentication and storage), Cloudflare (network, cookieless analytics and AI models) and sign-in providers such as GitHub, Google and Microsoft. Those services have their own terms and policies.
Liability
Diomu is provided as is and subject to availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for content published by users or for indirect damage arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to consumers by law.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or the law. We will publish the current version with its date. If the change is significant, we will give reasonable notice. These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the rules of your country of residence.
